Japanese Whalers vs. Greenpeace

How ironic is this?

"Imagine you're the skipper of the mother ship of a Japanese whaling fleet. A massive fire disables the ship's engines in the frigid waters off Antarctica, and one of your crew goes missing. Who would you least like to hear from right now? That's right -- Greenpeace."

In my eyes, this whaling junk is going to hurt all of Brand Japan. Sort of like our misadventure in Iraq has hurt Brand USA...

Surely Japan can do better.

The Yasukuni shrine is also something Brand Japan needs to face up to.

Actually, the video you link to is dolphin killing. Also, hard to watch.

But thank you for highlighting the cruelty of the whale hunt, and the current strange situation.

This is not the first case of sad irony between Greenpeace and the whalers. Read my update from last season's expedition to see what I mean.
